Consumer Product Warranty

Each of our products is intended for use only for the purpose described and not for any other purpose. Naturally, any item to be used by a child requires careful adult selection and use should be under proper adult supervision. Items must only be used by children of an appropriate age.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Close guarantees their products against defects in materials and manufacturing faults for a period of 6 months from date of purchase. For goods that are deemed to be faulty we will replace as long as they were purchased within the last 6 months. Please note that your warranty extends from the date of purchase and not from the date of first use.

**We will require proof of the purchase date so please keep your receipt**

Please note that we can only repair or replace products under warranty if your product was purchased new within Australia from an authorised stockist or consultant.

If you have a problem with your product, please contact the stockist or consultant through whom you purchased the goods by telephone or email. In some instances, they will be able to provide you with a replacement on site.

Please note:

We make every effort to supply products that are of an acceptable quality. Products are of an acceptable quality if they are:

  • safe, durable and free from defects
  • acceptable in appearance and finish; and
  • do all the things that the goods are ordinarily used for.

The warranty provided by our brands covers products that do not meet this standard, however the warranty does not cover:

FIT
While the Pop-In nappies have been designed as a one-size-fits-most nappy, they are not guaranteed to fit all babies at all stages. Most babies will fit the nappy from birth to toilet training or between 3 and 16 kilograms.

Some babies will go through a stage (usually just before they begin walking) when the nappies may seem to be a tight fit. Babies change shape all the time and your baby will likely fit comfortably into the nappies in a few weeks’ time.

The sizing suggestions are a guide only and are in no way a guarantee to fit.

Likewise, the Pop-in newborn nappy is designed to fit most babies between 2 and 5.5 kg, but are in no way guaranteed to fit.

WEAR AND TEAR
The warranty does not cover wear and tear over time.

Cloth nappies are a high rotation product and wear and tear can include thinning of fabrics over time, gradual slackening of elastic and reduced capacity to absorb due to loss of fabric "fluff".

The warranty does not cover deterioration of elastic in nappies over 6 months.

LEAKING
Some babies are light wetters and require only the absorbency of a minkee pop-in. Other babies seem to out wet everything.

If you happen to have a baby who is a heavy wetter, we highly recommend the bamboo Pop-Ins, and even some extra boosters to get them through.

The most important step you can take to reduce the incidence of leaking and to protect your baby from rash is to change at least every 2 hours during the day, or as soon as you know they have soiled the nappy.

For boys, it can be helpful to fold the top slim booster of a pop-in in half towards the front so that there is extra absorbency where it's most needed.

HEAT
Extreme temperatures can have a detrimental effect on almost anything. Plants die, animals suffer and material fades.

Your nappies and training pants contain components which are more susceptible to heat than most items of clothing.

Prolonged exposure to heat (whether from the sun, a heater or a tumble dryer) will damage the waterproofing, elastics and natural fibers of your products.

During periods of extreme heat, please dry your nappies, wet bags and training pants in the shade or inside.

Do not dry over a radiator or tumble dry at high heat. Training pants, wet bags and nappy shells should not be tumble dried at all. Damage to products as a result of exposure to high or prolonged heat is not considered a manufacturing defect.

INCORRECT CARE
The warranty does not cover products which have been cared for in an incorrect manner.

This includes, but is not limited to, tumble drying the outer shells, incorrect hanging, the use of fabric softener, bleach, vinegar, brighteners and washing detergents which contain citric acid.

It is important to wash nappies every day to avoid deterioration of the nappy fabric.

How long a nappy lasts is dependent on a number of factors, including care, number of nappies in rotation items of clothing. the waterproofing and the child's urine.

Warranty is also void if the product is modified in any way.

DETERGENTS
The use of homemade or mixed detergents will void your warranty, as will the use of all detergents which, when combined, are claimed to replicate Rockin' Green.

SECOND-HAND PRODUCTS
The warranty does not cover products that have been purchased from the original owner.

All warranty claims must be accompanied by your original receipt from an authorised Australian stockist or consultant.

MOULD
Mould is extremely damaging to cloth nappies and related products and is not covered under the warranty.

Likewise, any procedure or products which may be used to remove mould will void the warranty.

DELAMINATION
Delamination is not covered under warranty.

If delamination is apparent on your newly purchased product please contact the retailer or consultant whom you purchased the product from immediately.
